Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of aevixtech.com and any preview, pilot, or evaluation of products provided by Aevix Technologies (“Aevix,” “we,” “us”). By using this site or submitting any form, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Aevix Technologies is operated as a sole proprietorship in the United States. Use of any Aevix product under a separate written agreement (pilot agreement, order form, or master subscription agreement) is governed by that agreement, and those terms control to the extent they conflict with this page.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of your department, agency, or company to submit information through this site.

2. Intellectual property

The site, the Aevix name, the Aevix Operations, Aevix Stride, Aevix Orison, and Vix AI marks, the logos, the product designs, the source code, the copy, and all related materials are owned by Aevix Technologies or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works from any of it without our written permission, except that you may share normal links to public pages.

3. Your submissions

When you submit information through a form (contact, pilot, partner, careers, or similar), you represent that the information is accurate and that you have the right to share it. You grant Aevix a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the information for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site or any Aevix product in violation of any law.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without prior written authorization (responsible disclosure to security@aevixtech.com is welcome).
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from any Aevix product, except as permitted by applicable law.
• Submit false or misleading information through any form.
• Use the site to send spam, phishing, or malicious content.
• Impersonate any person, agency, or department.
• Scrape, automate, or otherwise harvest data from the site beyond ordinary search indexing.

5. Pilots, previews, and beta features

Some Aevix products and features are in pilot, preview, or beta status (for example, Vix 1.0 Preview). Pilot and preview features are provided for evaluation, may be changed or removed without notice, may contain bugs, and should not be relied on for production decisions unless we agree in writing. We may terminate any pilot or preview at any time.

6. Not a substitute for professional judgment

Aevix products are tools that support emergency response operations. They do not replace the judgment, training, or protocols of qualified responders, dispatchers, clinicians, or command staff. AI features (including Vix AI) can produce incorrect or incomplete output. Always verify critical information against authoritative sources and follow your agency’s protocols. Aevix is not responsible for clinical, tactical, or operational decisions made by users.

7. Forward-looking statements

Public statements on this site about future products, features, ship dates, or company goals (including roadmap items dated 2027 and beyond and any reference to a 2031 foundation model) are forward-looking. They are based on current plans and assumptions, and they are not commitments. Roadmap, scope, and timing may change. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell securities or a solicitation of investment.

8. Third-party links and services

The site may link to third-party websites or services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. Following a link is at your own risk.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and any pilot or preview product are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that the site or any product will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any output will be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aevix Technologies and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the site or any pilot or preview product, even if advised of the possibility.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the site or any pilot or preview product is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100), or, if you have a separate written agreement with us, the limit set in that agreement.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Aevix Technologies and its operator harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive.

13. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina and the federal laws of the United States applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version, with effective date, will always be posted on this page. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
